It is not very easy to get into the Christmas spirit with 18 degrees (Celsius) outside... So, we left for a weekend break in Munich. Indeed, the Christmas spirit in Germany is omnipresent: as soon as you arrive at the Munich airport a typical 'Christkindlmarkt' awaits you - a 'village' of wooden kiosks that sell clothes, candies, snacks etc. And such markts are all over the city, too. There wasn't much snow, unfortunately (only some ...leftovers!) - but it was quite cold anyway (-7 to 0 degrees). Finally, we found some use for our pullovers and other winter clothing... All in all, we had a good time and hope that some of the Christmas spirit will find its way to Athens too!

Christmas feeling ...at last!
